Jämthund is the National Dog of Sweden, the Swedish
Marines, The dog has a tightly curled tail. It has erect ears; a medium to long muzzle; is strong, and has endurance; it has a double coat of usually two colours. The eyes are brown. History The Jämthund is eponymous to Jämtland, a province of northwestern Sweden. Since the end of the last ice age, Jämthunds have been raised by the locals.
